OIL LAMP ON ADAM'S PEAK - This oil lamp is a very special lamp which is on the top of the Adam's Peak (Sripaada) in Sri Lanka. In Sinhala it is called as "Dolos Mahe Pahana" which means the lamp lights forever. Because of the unbearable cold on top of the Adam's Peak, pilgrims use to light it everyday every hour with their oil to get heat.
